Scott Bird, CSCS, RSCC*E, MSCC, SCCC oversees the field experience courses in Logan’s new Master of Science in Strength & Conditioning program. These courses offer hands-on opportunities to immerse students in an athletic performance setting such as in private gyms or high school, collegiate and professional athletics. Scott has more than 30 years of experience implementing strength and conditioning programs for multiple sports and has participated in 22 championship and bowl experiences. He has worked at Mizzou, Kansas State University, University of Houston, Texas Tech University and The Ohio State University, among others, and is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach and a Mental Performance Mastery Certified Coach.
Brittany Ramirez, DC, MS, LAT, ATC, CCSP, is a graduate of Logan University and the Program Director for Logan’s Master in Sports Science & Rehabilitation and the new Master in Strength and Conditioning. Dr. Ramirez served as the team chiropractor for MIZZOU Athletics, making her one of the few female chiropractors to work SEC football. Her passion for sports medicine is evident by her active work in expanding and growing sports-related degree programs nationally with unique concentrations, diverse field experience opportunities, and well-connected faculty who have a global understanding of body and functional biomechanics.
