Prior to joining Central Washington as a graduate assistant for football in 2014, Hoium was the assistant strength and conditioning coordinator for football at Olivet Nazarene University (Bourbonnais, Ill.). While at Pacific Lutheran University, from 2012-2013, Hoium served as an intern where he helped develop and lead sport specific exercise sessions. He also served as a fitness orientation specialist while at PLU, helping students develop proper lifting technique. He has been an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2013.
