James McFarland is a Teacher of Health and Physical Education at Hillsborough High School as well as the Strength & Conditioning Coordinator there. He has been involved with 8 collaborative research studies in youth exercise science at The College of New Jersey and works as an adjunct Professor for their practical exercise science course. He has over 20 published works in total and is a speaker for the NSCA since his start as a certified strength and conditioning specialist in 2001. In 2018, he was chosen as the National High School Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year by the NSCA.
