Coach Wintrich was the Director of Football Performance for UCLA from 2018 until 2021. Before that, he worked at the University of Virginia as a Director of Human Performance and Logistics for 2 years. In 2015, he was the Director of Football Performance at Brigham Young University. He was also the Director of Football Performance at the University of North Texas from 2010 to 2015.
He spent 2 years at the University of South Florida as the Associate Director of Strength and Conditioning starting in 2008. In 2006, he worked as Director of Athletic Development at The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. In 2003, he was an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Utah State University. And in 2003, he began working as a Coaching Assistant at Arizona State University. His extensive experience brought him to working now as a Human Performance Specialist training military and tactical professionals.
